Being Humans

You will receive a body, you may like it or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around

You are enrolled in a full time informal school called life; each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may think of them as irrelevant and stupid.

There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error and experimentation. The “failed” experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately “works”.

A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learnt it. When you have learnt it you can then go on to the next lesson.

“There” is no better that “here” when you “there” has become a “here” you will simply obtain another “there” that will again look better than “here”

Others are simply mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

You have all the tools and resources you need. What you make of them is up to you. The choice is yours.

The answers to life’s questions lie inside you. All you have to do is to LOOK, LISTEN and TRUST.

LITTLE EYES UPON YOU ****

There are little eyes upon you
and they're watching night and day,
There are little ears that quickly
take in every word you say.
There are little hands all eager
to do anything you do;
and a little boy who's dreaming
of the day he'll be like you.
You're the little fellow's idol,
you're the wisest of wise.
In his little mind about you
no suspicious ever rise.
He believes in you devoutly,
hold all that you say and do;
He will say and do,in you way,
when he's grown up like you.
There is a wide eyed little fellow
who believes you're always right;
and his eyes are always opened,
and he watches day and night.
You're setting an example
every day in all you do,
For the little boy who's waiting
to grow up to be like you.

You can not bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You can not strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You can not enrich the poor by impoverishing the rich.
You can not establish sound security on borrowed money.
You can not help the wage earner by pulling down the wage
payer.
You can not build character and courage by taking away
man's initiative and independence.
You can not further the brotherhood of man by inciting class
hatred.
You can not keep out of trouble by spending more than you
earn.
You can not help men permanently by doing for them what
they could and should do for themselves.

RISKS

TO LAUGH IS TO RISKS TO APPEARING THE FOOL.
TO WEEP IS TO RISKS TO SHOW A SENTIMENTAL.
TO REACH OUT OF ANOTHER IS TO RISKS
INVOLVEMENT.
TO EXPOSE YOUR FEELING IS TO RISKS TO
EXPOSING YOUR TRUE SELF.
TO PLACE YOUR IDEAS,YOUR DREAMS BEFORE A
CROWED IS TO RISKS THEIR LOSS.
TO LOVE IS TO RISKS NOT TO LOVE IN RETURN.
TO LIVE IS TO RISKS TO DIE.
TO HOPE IS TO RISKS TO DESPAIR.
TO TRY IS TO RISKS TO FAILURE.

BUT RISKS MUST BE TAKEN,BECAUSE THE GREATEST HAZARD
IN LIFE TO RISKS NOTHING.
THE PERSON WHO RISKS NOTHING,
DOES NOTHING,HAS NOTHING AND NOTHING.
THEY MAY AVOID SUFFERING AND SORROW
BUT THEY CAN'T LEARN,FEEL,CHANGE,
GROW,LOVE OR LIVE.
CHAINED BY THEIR ATTITUDE,THEY CAN SLAVE,
THEY HAVE FORFEIT THEIR FREEDOM.
ONLY A PERSON WHO RISKS IS FREE.

The Secret of Life

The secret of life isn't what happens to you, but what you do with what happens to you.

Help other people to cope with their problems and your own will be easier to cope with.

Never use the word impossible seriously again. Toss it into the verbal wastebasket.

Self-trust is the first secret of success. So believe in and trust yourself.

Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven't half the strength you think they have.

Joy increases as you give it, and diminishes as you try to keep it for yourself. In giving it, you will accumulate a deposit of joy greater than you ever believed possible.

How you think about a problem is more important than the problem itself - so always think positively .

Go at life with abandon; give it all you've got. And life will give all it has to you.

Believe or The Man Who Thinks He Can

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellows will;
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outclassed, you are;
You've got to think high to rise.
You've got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man;
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the one who thinks he can.
